AQUMEN OVERVIEW

HISTORY

Aqumen was founded in 1999 by Gill Taylor. Our Head Office is based in Goole, East Yorkshire and an office in Huddersfield. Aqumen operates across the whole of the United Kingdom. We are members of the industry body, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and we are Investor in People and ISO 9001: 2000 accredited.

We deliver clients bespoke recruitment services across a range of sectors: Executive Search and Selection; Flexible Temporary Resource; Candidate Response Handling; Research and Permanent Appointments. Through effective use of all the resources at our disposal we take pride in our ability to deliver creative and value adding services. All the above are supported by our frontline integrated recruitment system allowing clients and candidates alike, access to managed real time information.

PERMANENT RECRUITMENT

Aqumen Limited offers permanent recruitment solutions ranging from one off vacancies to volume campaigns across a range of sectors and disciplines. Aqumen operates across the UK and has offices in Goole and Huddersfield.

For candidate attraction we utilise Research (Head Hunt), Advertised Selection and/or Database methodologies dependent on the requirement. Aqumen Limited also employs a range of innovative pricing options to ensure the solution not only delivers the person specification but also the budget requirement.

TEMPORARY RECRUITMENT

Aqumen Limited offers a flexible resource solution to a wide range of clients. As with permanent recruitment this could be for single assignments or large scale need.

Delivered through Aqumen Recruitment this temporary staffing business is focused on improving efficiency of client operations through gaining a clear and thorough understanding of client business processes and needs. Aqumen supplies mainly blue collar workers from warehouse to driving staff.

Aqumen Recruitment will build exclusive databases per client thus reflecting individual client need and criteria.

RESEARCH & HEAD HUNT

Aqumen Limited has a dedicated Research function which can offer the following:

Executive search and selection (headhunting), including:

  • Compiling target lists
  • Identification of relevant individuals within target companies
  • Contacting potential candidates
  • Conducting telephone interviews
  • Submitting candidate details to the Client
  • Arranging interviews internally or for the Client company
  • Providing short-list of potential candidates

Market Research Surveys of:

  • Salaries/working hours/holidays/conditions
  • Competitor Activity
  • Demographics

Research can be used independently or as part of an overall strategy incorporating the permanent recruitment offering too thus allowing clients to either receive pre selected and screened short lists or short list themselves direct from Head Hunt.

RESPONSE HANDLING

Aqumen Ltd has a dedicated National Response Department; this provides a range of services from initial candidate attraction; management of recruitment campaign responses; through to telephone interviewing and organisation of national assessment centres.

Our service has been developed through experience, liaison with established customers and lessons learned through the operational management of our own contact centre. We can offer support on major one off recruitment campaigns as well as smaller on going requirements allowing you to outsource as much or as little of the recruitment process as you wish, thus tailoring our service to support your in house resources.

Aqumen Response Management team builds detailed management information on each campaign undertaken so as to track the success rate of individual advertising mediums. We feel that this information is crucial in order to build on the success of any campaign and increase both quality and quantity of candidates.

Aqumen Response Management also has a bank of experienced Assessors, Interviewers and Managers to support the response handling team and Assessment process.

The shift from the conventional, well-staffed personnel department to a smaller, advisory-based human resource management service has meant that volume recruitment campaigns have become increasingly difficult to handle in house. The administrative burden of dealing with an avalanche of applications can be a very daunting prospect, particularly where resources are limited, thus the increasing need to outsource the initial aspect of a recruitment campaign.
